Celebrating Dad's 75th Birthday in Bisbee

Here the girls are in front of the open pit mine in Bisbee. There Great Grandpa Esker Mayberry worked in the Copper Queen Mine which is close to this pit. The whole Mayberry clan went to Bisbee for the day to Celebrate Grandpa Andrew Mayberry's (my dad) 75th Birtday. He grew up in Bisbee and we took the kids down there so he could tell them stories of his life when he was a child.

This is the house here Grandpa Andrew (my Dad) was born and raised. The lower level was Great Grandpa Esker's barber shop. The family lived on the top level. To get there you went up the staircase located next to the building. The addition on the side of the building was put on by Esker when his 3rd son Roland was born.
We were able to contact the current owner and he let us inside the house and my dad told us a bunch of stories about what he remembers growing up there. The home is currently being used as a rental to tourists.

This is the sign outside the building showing that it's still named Mayberry's Place.
