I was picking up the backpacks and coats off the kitchen floor after the kids got home from school when under Ashley's backpack this caterpillar made me jump. I screamed Ashley why did you bring a caterpillar in the house and leave it on the floor. (The kids can bring bugs in the house as long as they are in glass jars where they can't escape.)
She had been talking to me a few days earlier about caterpillars on the playground, I just assumed they were real. Next time I know I should ask if they are real or plastic.
Luckily IT"S NOT REAL!
