Sunday School Teachers

Brian and I were called today to be the Gospel Doctrine teachers, that's teaching the adults their Sunday school lesson. We have only taught youth and feel unprepared to teach the adults. We said yes to the calling because we know the Lord doesn't ask someone to do a calling they are not capable of doing well. We just need to reach deep inside up and pull those talents out.
Update on the following day: During my confirmation today after church Brother Larson set me apart. During the blessing he said that my doubts and fears would go away and that I was capable of teaching the adults, just what I needed to hear. He said Brian's blessing before mine and said nothing about that, his was based on what he needed to hear. I never told these fears to brother Larson he just knew them because the spirit told him what needed to be said during my blessing.
I hope this calling means Brian will be getting a job here in Thatcher so he isn't gone most of the week. He has applied for a position that would fit him perfectly at EAC working for the SBDC. He should hear this week if they want to interview him or not, we are on pins and needles waiting.
I have a job interview Thursday at the EAC alumni office. I hope I get this job because the hours are when the kids are in school. I think it's really important for a mother to be home when her kids get home from school so she can make them a snack, ask them about their day and help with homework. Plus with Brian out of town during the week I don't have someone to help take/pick-up kids from activities.

So we are hoping and praying that things work out this week, it's a big week of waiting for us.
