This photo is taken beside a pond south of Daley Estates.
There are a couple of ponds just south of our house and we all like to drive out once in a while and see what's going on. The ponds are elevated and from their banks you have a really good view of the surrounding scenery.
This is where we drove to see the fire that was on Mount Graham this summer. There were also a few trucks of fire fighters there watching because the conditions were to dangerous to be any closer.
The mountain range in the background is the one north of Thatcher.
