I made this garden the other day when Brian was at work. I have added some regular soil and 6 LARGE bags of garden soil, 1 bag garden amend and 1 bag small mulch. The soil here is clay with no nutrients so I thought a raised garden would be the only way to have much luck growing veggies.
The sides of the garden are 12" but I don't plan on having the soil up to the top. The extra space will be mulch or whatever. The bed is 8' by 8'.
I am going to make another raised bed somewhat smaller next to it only 6" tall dedicated to strawberry plants I already have.
